FIRST IMPRESSIONS
When Ever Pretty reached out to me, I was wondering how is it going to work cause I had this impression that they were only selling wedding and bridesmaids dresses. Obviously, I was wrong. Selection wise, they do have casual and summer dresses listed on their website but I’d say the majority of their products are catered to formalwear.
Since I haven’t bought anything from Ever Pretty before, I took my time to ready customer reviews online. I gotta say this though, the reviews are a mix of positives and negatives. I don’t see a lot of negative feedback when it comes to the quality of their dresses, which is a good thing. But I did see some complaints with regards to their sizing. Some say it’s too big, some say it’s too small. I guess this is usually the complaint when online shopping though.
PRODUCT REVIEW
Now here comes the moment we’ve all been waiting for…. the products! I can read the online reviews all day but I thought it’s still best to see it myself. For this post, I was fortunate to pick two dresses from Ever Pretty’s new arrivals section and I will show you what I love about these dresses and what are the things that would need some improvement.
SPAGHETTI STRAP APPLIQUE BELT MAXI MESH EVENING DRESS
What I love about it: I’d like to start off with this fancy dark green evening dress because honestly… it’s been giving me some princess vibes. I love a good tulle dress so that itself made it a stunner. I chose this dark green evening dress because it’s flowy so it’s more comfortable to move. There’s a sheer fabric on the cleavage area which I totally adore as it shows your features in the classiest way. I also love the applique belt since it added some style on the dress and gave it some curve as well.
What I don’t like about it: I gotta admit it, the dress was a bit tight. To be fair, I’ve been losing weight and this is the first time I shopped online after the weight loss so I’m not sure if it’s me or their sizes are just a little smaller. There is a size chart though on each product so I suggest to look at them if you know your size by heart. You can always order your usual size if you want the dress to be more fitting and tight. But if you don’t, I suggest you sizing up just to be on the safer side.
WOMEN’S OFF SHOULDER RUFFLE THIGH SPLIT BRIDESMAID DRESSES
What I love about it: The next dress I tried was this off the shoulder chiffon bridesmaid dress. Just so you know, off shoulders are my thing. It compliments my body well and emphasizes my features. I find that this dress is very versatile because it can be worn as a classy dress to a summer wedding and can also be worn as a casual summer outfit, depending on your accessories. The size is just right for me and I ordered my regular clothing size (size 12). I have to say I like this chiffon bridesmaid dress better than the first one because it’s more versatile to wear.
What I don’t like about it: There’s really nothing to hate about this dress to be honest with you. I mean, the dress is too long for my liking but that isn’t much of a deal breaker. I might have this dress hemmed in the future or keep it as it is, I’m not sure yet but all I know is that I’ll definitely keep this dress for future use.
VERDICT
Overall, I enjoyed my new clothes from Ever Pretty, considering it was also the first time I tried their products. The sizing might be a hit or miss but again, it’s a common issue when shopping online. I highly suggest reading the size description or to order a size larger than your usual. I find their collection of casual and summer dresses are quite limited but still worth checking out. I found some cute casual dresses on their website which I would love to try next time. I’d say if you are looking for high quality formal dresses at a very affordable price, Ever Pretty is definitely something you should check out.
